A GUIDE FOR DISABLED DRIVER LEARNERS
While the participants were visiting Türkiye, Italy and Malta driving courses ,they examined the training systems in these countries ,compared the legislation and shared good practices. Later,a research was carried out within the scope of the project titled “Guide for Disabled Drivers” numbered 2021-1-TR01-KA210-ADU-000035019, supported by the Turkish National Agency for the Presidency for EU Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Within the scope of this research, interviews were conducted with 30 disabled drivers, 11 driving instructors and 9 driving school administrators in Turkiye, Italy and Malta. The data obtained from the research were analyzed and the results of the research were reached and some suggestions were made for disabled driver education. The knowledge gained during the project is presented in a guide.
